BATUR TREKKING

Departure time :02:30 am

Your adventure starts very early in the morning at 3:00 am with our pickup at your hotel. We start your trek at 1200 meters above sea level and therefore you will experience a milder temperature at this elevation. We begin our trekking up to the top of the mountain to see sunrise and a magnificent view of the crater lake and red sky. In the morning light we will walk around the rim of the volcanic cone to see the crater. This trek takes about 3-4 hours up and down. On the way back down you will walk through to the black lava that originally flowed down during the first and second eruptions. Batur volcano is still active, with eruptions in 1926,1963, 1974 and 1994.back to the hotel,
